Sounds like a bad idea? Its an old version. But you can probably just install the version you want. Change that to ^5.0 and run npm update

How to Downgrade Laravel Mix to 5 from 6
in My new Laravel project there is Laravel-Mix laravel-mix": "^6.0.6", but I need downgrade it to mix 5. then what is the perfect method to do it?
