phpFpm is unable to handle multiple request

Hey guys, i have a laravel application deployed on ec2 with php7.4-fpm with nginx, along with this i am using mysql database but the problem is php fpm is unable to handle requests. There are thousands of request coming from a url (which is necessary) but the fpm goes out of resources what to do with this?
