I have not because i could not help but think I was just missing something obvious and felt a bit silly, however you reply makes me think i am not crazy so i will do so now.

Is there a reason i can't use the word 'index' in any part of a component suffix. For example

Unable to find component: [admin::course.course-index]
Unable to find component: [admin::course.course-abcindex]
Unable to find component: [admin::course.course-thisindexisstillaproblem]

It took me ages to work out i can use any other word except for 'index'.

I can get rid of the 'course'- prefix and index alone works fine but this is not our convention.
