Doing this with Laravel 8, fresh install. I am receiving the following:

ERROR in ./resources/js/views/Home.vue 1:0
Module parse failed: Unexpected token (1:0)
You may need an appropriate loader to handle this file type, currently no loaders are configured to process this file.

Totally stuck. Web searched, installed some dependencies through NPM, not sure what else to try.
