@sultanDino Good question because there is some ambiguation between them.

The for() method is used strictly for a "belongs to" relationship. So, it is only used for defining the parent model instance for a child model.

The recycle() method can be used for models that share a common relationship--it doesn't have to be a "belongs to" type of relationship (even though that is probably the most common use). It ensures "a single instance of the related model is recycled for all of the relationships created by the factory."

Additionally, you can pass a collection of model instances to recycle(); whereas, you can't with for().
