@krekas maybe I've asked it wrong, I'll try to explain better:

import MyComponent from  '@/components/MyComponent.vue'

The correct import path would be ../../MyComponent.vue (relative path when I'm in ./src/components/deep/deep/)

But if, as said, @ is replaced to ./src then the import path should be ./src/components/MyComponent.vue that is wrong, because it's relative and means ./src/components/deep/deep/src/components/MyComponent.vue, doesn't it?

Unless it works with it always from the top level folder (where jsconfig.json file is), then it makes sense.
