Thanks, Jeffrey for the work you do! I already have a couple of years of experience with PHP, but the more time passes, the more I realize the importance of the fundamentals. That is why I'm taking this course :)

While doing the homework, I wanted to print the info without using concatenation and with a single echo, but it failed, ex:

<?= "$book['name'] ($book['releaseYear'])"; ?>

It complains about syntax error, unexpected string content "", expecting "-" or identifier or variable or number.

I checked the doc about strings and in the Example #15 Simple syntax example I realized my error.

When parsing a PHP variable, if it's an associative array, and we want to access the value of a specific index of it, we write the array index without quotes, ex: <?= "$book[name]"; ?>

Then I update my solution and it now works like a charm!

<?= "$book[name] ($book[releaseYear])"; ?>

However, this looks kind of weird. So if we want to use the index of the array enclosed in quotes, we need to use the Complex (curly) syntax when parsing PHP variables, as shown in the documentation:

// Works, quoted keys only work using the curly brace syntax
echo "This works: {$arr['key']}";

Then using this information, another solution could be:

<?= "{$book['name']} ({$book['releaseYear']})"; ?>

It captivates me how things apparently simply can contain so many details.

Associative Arrays
