Trying to understand where I need to use .value.

I have this snippet of code, that I'm trying to move over from the options to composition api. Does .value need to be used on everything that is returned?

filteredDeals() {
            if (this.selectedStore) {
                let tempDeals = this.deals;

                tempDeals = tempDeals.filter((item) => {
                    return item.store.id === this.selectedStore.id;
                });
                return tempDeals;
            } else if (this.selectedProduct) {
                let tempDeals = this.deals;

                tempDeals = tempDeals.filter((item) => {
                    return item.product.id === this.selectedProduct.id;
                });
                return tempDeals;
            } else if (this.selectedBrand) {
                let tempDeals = this.deals;

                tempDeals = tempDeals.filter((item) => {

                });
                return tempDeals;
            }
            return this.deals;
