For me it looks like the wire:poll needs to be local/isolated not global. The wrappng island inside island with always is just fix to (broken) poll.

Like Caleb said. "Often people think that poll means local refresh, but is not" and this is exact description of issue with poll. It has to be local, and this "often" misunderstanding of poll will be gone and islands inside islands with always will be not needed.

Still i needs to say that v4 is to most exited update of livewire and o love it in general.

So i can wrap refresh button with blade island directive with same name and will work because is linked together? :)
