I recommend Commander One for file handling. It's similar to Total Commander for Windows. You can get it from the app store or here https://mac.eltima.com/file-manager.html
I used use "Path Finder" as a finder alternative on my old computer. Right now I'm just using normal Finder which has been ok so far. I'll take a look at Commander One to see if I like it.
in the search page, this episode seem link to the old archived series:

instead of

I just started using Notion. Would definitely recommend.
I need to force myself to use it and see if it can replace my current workflow and apps.
Noice! Thanks for sharing that.
-
borgbase with their GUI tool vorta for off-site backup. I think they offer 10 GB for free which is sweet.
-
LittleSnitch (or Lulu) to monitor which app is trying to connect where
-
Rectangle for window management (alternative for spectacle which is no longer maintained)
It wasn't shown in this cast but iStatMenus has a very nice Calendar and Weather integration, check it out before opting to use separate apps (if you're gonna use iStatMenu)
Thx for the suggestions, will take a look at them.
I recommend Brave If you need a browser with a default ad blocker:
The creator of that is Brendan Eich which is also the creator of JavaScript and co-founder of Mozilla (Firefox).
Yeah, I need to try out Brave.
I started using Brave a few weeks ago. Excellent choice.
Thanks for Dato.
Fantastical was a fantastic choice (no pun intended!) for a long time but their pricing scheme change from one-time to subscription, made me look for an alternative!

Why do you guys keep using Mac?
Get a laptop with proper hardware and install Linux!
Creative Cloud is not yet available for Linux. It's main reason for me :(
Welcome to my pilot room. 😃
I hope you can create this series in Windows Version :)
For a fun command-line todo list, try taskbook!
Alfred has quite an elaborate clipboard history and snippets management feature as well. Curious to know: Have you tried that, and if so, why was Flycut a better fit for you?
Alfred definitely has more features but sometimes I just want to use the mouse and use flycut (despite the "don't use the mouse dev mindset 😅). They work fine together so I use them both.
Oh yeah, gonna use Noizio! Thanks for that, I normally go to YouTube to find stuff like that. Sometimes I love music, but yeah, can be a bit too distracting if you[re trying to solve a difficult problem or focus.
Fantastic video, thanks Andre! Just wish you'd mentioned Set App at the start, before I bought iStat LOL - that'll show me for going on a purchase binge before the video is done :)
