You can easily create your own 'local' aliases by adding them to your ~/.bashrc (for most linux &/or Windows bash systems) or ~/.zshrc (Mac & other .zsh systems) file. Note that ~/ directs to your 'home' directory.

Using vim to edit a .bashrc file:

$ vim ~/.bashrc

then press i to enter insert mode. The word 'INSERT" should appear in the lower left corner. Then add the following three lines (just after any aliases that you find already there or, if none exist, anywhere you want). The first one will allow you to very quickly jump back into this file with vim for further adding, removing, adjusting, etc. of future aliases you might want to try, the second one is explained below the example, and the third one is for your requested 'pat' alias.

alias brc='. ~/.bashrc'
alias pat="php artisan test"

When you're done, press & release the ESC key to switch to command mode, followed by typing :wq (write and quit the editor), which will appear in the lower left corner. Press ENTER to confirm and you'll be returned to your terminal. Assuming that you included the "brc" alias in the example, type brc into your terminal and press enter to source (tell the system to refresh its contents into memory) the .bashrc file. Once that's done, entering pat will run your full suite of tests.

Be careful to not give new aliases the name of a command that already exists, as it will basically override that command with your alias. It is possible to get around that, but it's usually not worth the hassle.
