Love the example, I think weather apps are a super good learning tool and cover a lot of concepts without getting too technical.

When using Blade components I really feel like they start to spread your code all over the place. Rather than passing current weather to a blade file, it needs to be added to a component controller, then a view then passed into the component.

Perhaps this is less of a practical example and more of an example of what can be done. But I have started using View components and they have really started to confuse me were I to look.

PHP Storm also doesn't manage them very well, I have lost the ability to click through to components.

I see the value, but I see them as something that should have a very specific reason to use.
