To retain flexibility for the cy.create command where say you have models which are namespaced in other than App namespace for eg: App\Blogs\Post or Acme\Post we can use query params instead of route segment like

cy.create('App\\Blog\\Post', {title: 'My first blog'}).then(post => { 
   console.log(post)
    //do something
})

cy.login('Acme\Auth\User', {name: 'John Doe'}).then(res => {
    //do something
})


//And in commands.js

const routePrefix = '__testing__';

Cypress.Commands.add("login", (userProvider = 'App\\User', overrides = {} ) => {
    return cy.request(`${routePrefix}/signin?userProvider=${userProvider}`, overrides).its('body');
})

Cypress.Commands.add("create", (model, overrides = {} ) => {
    return cy.request(`${routePrefix}/create?model=${model}`, overrides).its('body');
