@nickmendoza I had the same problem, but what I saw I was missing was placing the react plugin as a react() function in vite.config.js (it was mentioned at 04:10), but when it autocompletes, it doesn't add the "()" at the end.

To properly enable the React plugin and use the New JSX Transform (which avoids the need to import React from 'react'; in every file), you need to invoke react as a function:

import { defineConfig } from 'vite';
