Started a new Conversation Laravel Nova - How To Access Component In Another Card?
I have several cards on one page - but I did not find a way to access a component (specifically it is a DataGrid from Devextreme) in another card using this.$refs etc.
So I guess one must use this.$root etc. - but here I am lost as I don't know the path from $root.
Does anybody know how to access components in other cards on the same page?
Started a new Conversation Devexpress Component In Nova - Vue Not Found
I have installed Devexpress in Nova, but it does not find vue:
ERROR in C:/xampp/htdocs/nova-cybersecurity/node_modules/devextreme-vue/core/version.js Module not found: Error: Can't resolve 'vue' in 'C:\xampp\htdocs\nova-cybersecurity\node_modules\devextreme-vue\core'
How can I make sure VUE is found by the component?
The component is the Datagrid from Devexpress.
I created this sample of master/detail Datagrid in a custom card:
(all the VUE code can be found here - for npm installation of devexpress see here https://js.devexpress.com/Documentation/Guide/Vue_Components/Add_DevExtreme_to_a_Vue_Application/ )
The master part of the grid works without any problems, the grid shows with the data.
But the details part (which is loaded inside the nested template part) is not showing up at all - the panel below the row clicked shows but is empty.
When calling the details .vue directly it works also.
Started a new Conversation Laravel Nova: Nested Templates Not Working In Custom Card Vue File?
In a Nova custom cards .vue file I tried to nest tags like this:
template> .... template> ... /template> .... /template>
But it seems the inner template tag is not getting executed at all - it is just ignored.
I have a component that uses this setup but it seems not usable in Nova.
Can anyone help me with this?
Started a new Conversation Nova: Context Variables In Custom Cards On Detail Views
How can I access context details / environment variables on a custom card?
For example when showing a custom card on a detail view, how can I get the values for example for "resourcename", "resource_id" and other values that might contain values regarding the context of where the card is shown?
