I am using vue js image cropper, I initiated 6 instances from one component as above. It assigned dynamically id to each instance. On each click I call "handleCroppaFileChoose" method but I want handler or element selector of clicked instance. If I use $(this) it returns "#imagesDiv" element.

var app = new Vue({
    el: '#imagesDiv',
    data: {
        myCroppa:[],
        imgUrl: '',
        numberFiles:0,
    },
    methods: {
        handleCroppaFileChoose: function(e){
        // here I want id of specific item lets say I get id for 3rd instance
        console.log(this.myCroppa[3]._uid);
        },
})

check the same issue at git: https://github.com/Foliotek/Croppie/issues/287

umerhassan left a reply on Image Cropper Before Uploading • 2 weeks ago

I am using the code like

$uploadCrop[j].croppie('result', {
    type: 'canvas',
        size: 'orignal',
        format: 'jpeg'
}).then(function (resp) {
    // upload via ajax
});

and after uploading it still becomes 3 times bigger.

I am looking for any library in jQuery for image crop before upload. like: http://foliotek.github.io/Croppie/ but it makes images size 6 to 7 times bigger. i.e. image of 800kb would be upload of 7mb or 8mb.

Thank you @goatshark for reply actually I am handling s3 perfectly. But the issue I am facing with s3 uploading. It is taking too much time. suppose one image of 800kb takes about 1.5 or 2 mins to upload. Thats why I am asking the best practice for image storing.

Is there any other thing that can be creating issue while uploading, like forge, nginx ??
