thechrise left a reply on Delete Job By ID From Laravel Horizon Redis Queue

Update: I've found that Redis is not great for long-term queues, so I've decided to use Redis as an immediate queue connection, and any long-term queues will be placed on the database driver where they can be referenced, and stored for 6 months.

thechrise started a new conversation Spark::checkPlanEligibilityUsing Not Firing

I'm placing this in the SparkServiveProvider booted function. And I have a Website model that is connected to the team and I can get a count of 1, but even when I use this method without the if statement, and just return false, it's not blocking the subscription downgrade or upgrade. Any help would be much appreciated.

Spark::checkPlanEligibilityUsing(function ($user, $plan) {
            if ($plan->name == 'medium' && count($user->currentTeam->websites) > 0) {
                return false;
            }

            return true;
        });

thechrise started a new conversation Delete Job From Laravel Horizon Redis Queue

I'm using the Redis queue and Horizon to archive a user's website when their subscription ends, and then in 6 months delete the website. I create both of these jobs in Redis and save their job id so that I can reference them for later.

Let's say the users resubscribes before the 6 months are up. I have a listener in place to check for the delete and archive job ids. How would I go about accessing and deleting these jobs in the Redis queue?
