tbtchan left a reply on Multiple Laravel Echo Instances With Different Pusher App Keys

@D9705996 - Hi, thanks for the reply. But my goal is to use both alpha_pusher and beta_pusher simultaneously so that window.alpha and window.beta can broadcast and connect to their respective pusher channel app.

Use case: Let's say I have 3 laravel projects. In charlie app, I wan to monitor alpha and beta user login through presence channel. Alpha and beta have their respective pusher channel app (two sets of pusher keys here). Hence charlie need to use two broadcaster

tbtchan started a new conversation Multiple Laravel Echo Instances With Different Pusher App Keys

window.alpha = new Echo({
  broadcaster: 'alpha_pusher',
  key: 'alpha-pusher-key'
});

window.beta = new Echo({
  broadcaster: 'beta_pusher',
  key: 'beta-pusher-key'
});

Is it possible to achieve this in one Laravel 5.4 project? As far as I have tried Laravel only allows us to choose one broadcast driver.

'alpha_pusher' => [
    'driver' => 'pusher',
    'key' => env('PUSHER_APP_KEY'),
    'secret' => env('PUSHER_APP_SECRET'),
    'app_id' => env('PUSHER_APP_ID'),
    'options' => [
        'cluster' => env('PUSHER_APP_CLUSTER'),
        'encrypted' => true,
    ],
]

And in .env

BROADCAST_DRIVER=alpha_pusher

tbtchan left a reply on CSRF Mismatch With A SPA Vue App

did something like the following:-

window.axios.defaults.xsrfHeaderName = 'X-XSRF-TOKEN2'; window.axios.defaults.xsrfCookieName = 'XSRF-TOKEN2';

as a result X-XSRF-TOKEN doesnt appear in header anymore.. and some how my token mismatch error stops appearing.

I hope this is helpful. Try it out and do share if it does solve your token mismatch error.

set SESSION_COOKIE in .env with a name with no underscore. it solves my problem in my ever changing CSF token at times.

e.g. SESSION_COOKIE=myprojectname
