simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

Ahh there it is then, thought it was something to do with the backend! least you found it in the end!

simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

your payload data is returning a string instead of an array and i think thats where the underlying issue is, your vue code is fine

simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

look in the vue inspector to see what the units array looks like.

simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

Try let payload = JSON.parse(response.data.payload)

simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

what does the response look like from the endpoint? look at it in the network tab then send screen shot if you can

simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

try this:

axios.get('/block/api/getByBlock/' + this.block) .then((response) => {

                    let payload = response.data.payload;

                    console.log(payload);
                    this.units = payload;
                });

simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

try just assigning this.units = payload rather than this.units.push(payload) looks like it might just be a nested array

simon1709 left a reply on JSON Into A V-for Select Dropdown [HELP]

what does your console.log(payload) look like?

would you not do this.units = payload if the payload is an array?

simon1709 left a reply on Eloquent Relationship: Multiple Foreign_keys On One Table Referencing The Same Table (should Be Many To Many)

yeah i have thought about it but theres alot of code all over the place and its a bigger job than it seems!

Thanks devfrey :)

simon1709 started a new conversation Eloquent Relationship: Multiple Foreign_keys On One Table Referencing The Same Table (should Be Many To Many)

Hi,

I have a table where it should be a many to many relationship however its using multiple foreign keys on the same table ie. pupil_id, pupil_id_1, pupil_id_2, pupil_id_3 etc i know it shouldn't be done like this but its what i have to work with.

how would i define this as a relationship in using eloquent models i'm basically creating an api based off an older project.
