Replied to Job Success

In case anyone comes across this and wants to know here is what eventually ended up working for me:

In the App service provider (I made my own service provider but app is whats in the documentation) boot method put this in:

public function boot()
{
        Queue::after(function (JobProcessed $event) {
            // $event->connectionName
            // $event->job
            // $event->job->payload()
            $payload = $event->job->payload();

            $job = unserialize($payload['data']['command']);
            dd($job);

   });

if you unserialize whats above you end up with the job object.

I would recommend dd() all the above commented out to see whats in them, for further info look here:

Started a new Conversation Difference Between Jobs And Events

I am working on building something for custom workflows where I could launch jobs or chain them based on data or other conditions, i think i could build this over jobs/queues or events, I'm just curious what the difference between the two is as there seems to be a lo of overlap?

Started a new Conversation How To Get This Eloquent Query To Return A Builder Object

So I have a model with a few hasMany() relationships and I as is normal It returns fine with a collection, since Eloquent rides on top of builder can I get it to return a builder object so other people can chain what they want to it and call get()?

Here is My Query:

    return Company::findOrFail($id)->load('contacts', 'addresses', 'team');

The idea is to put this in a method and have someone just able to take it and add anything else they like before call get()
