I've tried your solutions, but it didn't worked in 5.4...

It's not errors.404 or errors/404... Now it's errors::404.

This worked for me:

        view()->composer(['layouts.app', 'errors::404'], function ($view) {
            $view->with('test', 'ok);
        });

poldixd left a reply on Modify The Header And Footer In Mail Markdown Mails

ok, i've found the solution. You don't have to use @component('mail::message')... you must use @component('mail::layout') in the template.

Here is my mail:

@component('mail::layout')
    {{-- Header --}}
    @slot('header')
        @component('mail::header', ['url' => config('app.url')])
            <!-- header here -->
        @endcomponent
    @endslot

    {{-- Body --}}
    <!-- Body here -->

    {{-- Subcopy --}}
    @slot('subcopy')
        @component('mail::subcopy')
            <!-- subcopy here -->
        @endcomponent
    @endslot

    {{-- Footer --}}
    @slot('footer')
        @component('mail::footer')
            <!-- footer here -->
        @endcomponent
    @endslot
@endcomponent

Hey @tykus, thanks for your answer.

I had published the vendor files, but i didn't know, if it was the right way.

There is are a header and footer slot section in resources/views/vendor/mail/markdown/message.blade.php...

Can i overwrite the section in my mail blade template without editing the resources/views/vendor/mail/markdown/message.blade.php file?

Greetings

poldixd started a new conversation Modify The Header And Footer In Mail Markdown Mails

Hello,

I'm trying to run the new laravel markdown mails. My blade template is:

@component('mail::message')
# {{ $Subject }}

Hallo {{ $user->name }},

I'm a mail message.

Greetings<br>
{{ config('app.name') }}

@endcomponent

The result is this:

Image of the mail

But how can i define the header or footer? I will put a logo in the header.

Greetings

poldixd left a reply on Chunks In The Wrong Folder

ok, thanks. this worked for me:

webpack.mix.js

mix.webpackConfig({
    output: {
        publicPath: '/'
    }
});

But the Chunks are not in the public/js/ Folder. There are in the public/root folder.

On the other hand, webpack includes the chunks!

<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8" async="" src="/0.js"></script>

<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8" async="" src="/1.js"></script>

poldixd started a new conversation Chunks In The Wrong Folder

Hi,

i have a default app.js where i require the modules/search.js. My modules/search.js has the following content:

require(['typeahead.js'], (Bloodhound) => {
    // etc...
});

In the app.js i call the modules/search.js:

require('./modules/search');

Now webpack generats me the files in this structure:

- public
|- css
|- - app.css
|- js
|- - app.js
|- 0.js

The chunk 0.js is in the root folder of public. if i browse to my laravel installation, the browser can't find the 0.js...

app.js:97 GET http://project.dev:8000/users/0.js
Error: Loading chunk 0 failed. at HTMLScriptElement.onScriptComplete (app.js:87)
app.js:87 Uncaught (in promise) Error: Loading chunk 0 failed. at HTMLScriptElement.onScriptComplete (app.js:87)

... because the file is not in the folder public/js/.

How can i set the folder for the chunks to public/js/?

poldixd started a new conversation Path's In Stylesheets To Images Folder

Hello,

i worked alwase with GruntJs. Now i switching to 5.4 and Laravel Mix. Here are my files.

webpack.mix.js:

mix.js('resources/assets/js/app.js', 'public/js')
   .sass('resources/assets/sass/app.scss', 'public/css');

mix.copy('resources/assets/images/', 'public/images/', false); // Don't flatten!

My app.scss is:

span.loader
{
    background: url(../images/loader.gif) no-repeat center center;
}

Now i ran npm run dev... and the result is:

span.loader {
  background: url(./loader.gif?6407495c57fb47ec9615edf51ae5c738) no-repeat center center;
}

but i copied all images to the public/images/ folder. The url must be image/loader.gif6407495c57fb47ec9615edf51ae5c738

How can i change the path to the images folder? The path to the loader.gif is always ./

Greetings
