Yes @sinnbeck you are right.

But I can understand why I cannot read from env. the permissions.

I change the permissions to 777 for tests and this not resolve.

Yes. Looks a valid key for me.

/var/www/app # cat .env | grep -i app_key

APP_KEY=base64:c/UPpkuqVLMs4T77KA6+TlQ7mAp8Xbugy0pRwdOh5gQ=

@chr15k and @sinnbeck thank you for your answer.

I already try clean the cache after generate the new key.

I don't use volumes, i am copy all the file inside to container when i do the build using the docker file. All the file, inclusive the .env file, are inside the container.

Hi @all!

I am trying to put my app inside a container. I a using alpine PHP image with the base image.

When I try to access my application I got the error:

The only supported ciphers are AES-128-CBC and AES-256-CBC with the correct key lengths.

I am already trying to create the key again with the command php artisan key:generate but this not fix my problem.

I can see the app_key in the page error but is not the same in the env file. I can't understand why.

Anyone with the same problem? Can you help me?
