Awarded Best Reply on Max Exution Time Error

Please check which php version you are using and if you have updated the right php.ini file.

Another thing is if your script is taking more than 30sec to process then you should rethink the logic of the code, unless you are running some complex long processes.

Replied to How To Export Database Into Json Object

Following code should work. But exporting database as sql is the preferred way and should avoid opening options for users to download from the browser.

$sql = "select ...";
$db = new PDO ( "mysql:$dbname", $user, $password) ;
$stmt = $db->prepare($sql);
$stmt->execute();
$result = $stmt->fetchAll();

file_put_contents("output.txt", json_encode($result));

Replied to How To External URL Image (download/ Copy)

You can use file_get_contents() function to fetch the image file.

Please do write more details about the issue, otherwise people will reply based on assumptions. There is a similar question here: https://laracasts.com/discuss/channels/laravel/storing-image-file-retrieved-from-external-url

use Storage;

$url = "https://github.githubassets.com/images/modules/logos_page/GitHub-Mark.png";
$contents = file_get_contents($url);
$name = substr($url, strrpos($url, '/') + 1);
Storage::put($name, $contents);

Replied to I Need Help

If you are using resource routing then and with a admin prefix then the route name would be {{ route('admin.users.edit', $row->id) }}

It is an assumption though, please write more details about the issue you are facing.

Started a new Conversation Multiple Domain Single Application

I need to build a number of similar websites and planning to use one single application for all the individual domains. I also need to enable SSL/ HTTPS for the domains.

I found two different packages which tells that those can be used for multiple domains. Apart form using separate packages i want to do this within the application. Can you please suggest me what is the best approach to achieve this?
