leelanarasimha left a reply on Vue Router Question And Clarifcation

Looks like ok for me. I am not sure...

I use browserify for vue router and it works nice for me

   var Vue = require('vue');
   var VueRouter = require('vue-router');
   var VueResource = require('vue-resource');

Vue.use(VueRouter);
Vue.use(VueResource);

var router = new VueRouter({
    hashbang: false,
    history: true
});

router.map({
    '/': {
        component: require('./components/login.vue')
    },
        '/login': {
            component: require('./components/login.vue')
        },
    });
    router.start(App, '#app');

Nested Routes are throwing error when i reload the page in the browser.

When i check in the console the error is displaying as:

example: /foo - working on browser reload /foo/bar - not working on browser reload

Is there any routes problem or any server rewrite issue.

leelanarasimha started a new conversation Vue Nested Router Map Url Is Not Working When I Copy Paste In Another Browser

Hi

Nested routes are not working when i refresh the browser with the nested route url.

Html file

    <div id="app">
        <h1>Just demo for router</h1>
        <p>
            <a v-link="{ path: '/foo' }">Go to foo</a>
            <a v-link="{ path: '/bar' }">Go to bar</a>
            <a v-link="{ path: '/bar' }">Go to foobar</a>
        </p>
        <router-view></router-view>
    </div>
    <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/vue/1.0.16/vue.js"></script>
    <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/vue-router/0.7.10/vue-router.js"></script>
    <script src="js/main.js"></script>

Vue file: var Foo = Vue.extend({ template: '' + 'This is foo' + '<router-view></router-view>' });

    var Bar = Vue.extend({
        template: '<div>This is bar</div>'
    });

    var App = Vue.extend({});

    var router = new VueRouter({
        hashbang: false,
        history: true,
        linkActiveClass: "active",
        mode: 'html5'
    });

    router.map({
        '/foo' : {
            component: Foo,
            subRoutes: {
                '/bar': {
                    component: Bar
                }
            },
        },

        '/bar': {
            component:Bar,
        }

    });

    router.start(App, '#app');

Normally clicking on the links it is working.

/foo/bar link is working perfect when i click on the url. When i directly copy the url and paste it on other browser it is displaying the error in the console as Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <

Can anyone please tell me where i have did wrong.

leelanarasimha started a new conversation Binding Form With Collection Instead Of Model

Hi

I have small doubt

With form model binding, we can populate the form fields with the values from the associated table row.

But now i had a collection instead of getting eloquent collection.

Is there a way to bind the collection to form with custom collection instead of model binding.

//In Controller

$slides = array(
        'name' => 'Some Random Name',
    );

    $slide = collect($slides);

//In View

{!! Form::model($slide, ['url' => 'admin/slides', 'method' => 'put']) !!}
                <div class="row">
                    <div class="col-md-12">
                        <div class="form-group">
                            {!! Form::label('name', 'Slide Name:') !!}
                            {!! Form::text('name', null, ['class' => 'form-control']) !!}
                        </div>
                    </div>
                </div>

How can we highlight the name text box with the name provided in the collection?

I am unable to get idea?

leelanarasimha left a reply on Class 'Pusher' Not Found

I think it may be the issue of broadcast driver.

I forgot to mention the broadcast driver in .env file. BROADCAST_DRIVER=redis

If you mention the broadcast driver in .env. Your problem may be solved

leelanarasimha started a new conversation Start A Schedular Cron Job In Godaddy Shared Hosting

Hi Friends

I am trying to run the cron job of sending emails to the registered users daily.

I hosted my site in godaddy shared hosting.

I am using the schedular cli to run the program. Its working fine when trying through the php artisan command. (Just like the predefined example Inspire).

I need to set up the cron job in godaddy hosting. I have given the command

/usr/local/bin/php /home/leelanarasimha/public_html/artisan schedule:run 1>> /dev/null 2>&1

The Code is not executing. I am unable to find the errors where it will be stored.

Is the command correct to execute the laravel scedule job in godaddy hosting?

When i run the command php artisan schedule:run in local environment.

Its showing up the message "No Scheduled commands are ready to run".

I am scratching my head where the problem is? Can anyone help me out on this

Will the godaddy server also has the same problem? or it works fine

If godaddy works fine i can shift to homestead instead of xamp in windows.
