Replied to Laravel 6 Vue 2 And Axios ERROR NotFoundHttpException

this works for me

//This route covers all the controller function including @show so no need to add it
Route::apiResources(['user' => 'API\UserController']);

this axios link added "/" before api works

axios.get("/api/user/" + this.$route.params.id

http://sfawsdev.i/viewuser/28

thank you @uttamrabadiya

Replied to Laravel 6 Vue 2 And Axios ERROR NotFoundHttpException

Nothing happened.. still the same error i tried to use another axios.get request which is working on another component now what ever axios request on this component is not working.. i think something is not right on the component.

this is the component where the router link is:

//Search.vue
        <router-link :to="'/viewuser/' + user.id" class="text-decoration-none">
                      <v-list-item-avatar tile size="120" color="grey">
                        <v-img :src="'storage/profile_photo/' + user.profile.photo">
                          <template v-slot:placeholder>
                            <v-row class="fill-height ma-0" align="center" justify="center">
                              <v-progress-circular indeterminate color="success lighten-5"></v-progress-circular>
                            </v-row>
                          </template>
                        </v-img>
                      </v-list-item-avatar>
                    </router-link>

and the paths

import Vue from 'vue';
import VueRouter from 'vue-router';

// Component Routers
Vue.use(VueRouter)
let routes = [
    { path: '/home', component: require('./components/Home.vue').default },
    { path: '/profile', component: require('./components/Profile.vue').default },
    { path: '/marketplace', component: require('./components/Marketplace.vue').default },
    { path: '/mystore', component: require('./components/MyStore.vue').default },
    { path: '/buildstore', component: require('./components/BuildStore.vue').default },
    { path: '/users', component: require('./components/Users.vue').default },
    { path: '/search', component: require('./components/Search.vue').default },
    { path: '/viewuser/:id', component: require('./components/ViewUser.vue').default },
]
const router = new VueRouter({
    mode: 'history',
    routes // short for `routes: routes`
})

and this is the component where the specific user details will be displayed

//ViewUser

created() {
    this.loadUser();
  },

  methods: {
    loadUser() {
      axios
        .get("api/user/" + this.$route.params.id)
        .then(data => {
          this.user = data.data;
        })
        .catch(error => {
          console.log(error);
        });
    }
  },

This the path to another VUE component..

<router-link :to="'/api/user/' + user.id">

what is missing here is the HTTP request link via axios

axios.get("api/user/" + this.$route.params.id)

that goes to Laravel API ROUTE

Route::apiResources(['user' => 'API\UserController']);
    Route::get('user/{id}', 'API\[email protected]');

upon checking routelist i got this,

@show  GET|HEAD    | api/user/{user}         api,auth:api            user.show

i am redirected to the homepage. I think this route does not exist or laravel did not find this route. I dont know how to show user using the show($id) controller function by HTTP Request.

this is the function that i want to

public function show($id) {
    return User::findOrFail($id);
}
