Have you managed to make it work with tax on a subscription? Seems to be no way to add tax to subscriptions anymore? But it was possible before the SCA.
Started a new Conversation Upgrading Cashier From 7.2 To 10.x?
I implemented Stripe as a payment solution for subscriptions into one of my projects a few years ago, and it has been working out just fine until now. The EU is enforcing SCA that will cause me some trouble.
How on earth do I upgrade from an old version like 7.2 to the current v10? There are nothing in the docs about it, and I've got a feeling there has been a lot of updates done since last time I checked into it. For example I need to merge all the old data for subscriptions into a new database structure.
How would you approach such a big upgrade?
Replied to Double Requests On Every Pageload
Thanks for the tip on network tab. I was requesting an image from the wrong path, and since first level sub-pages that does no longer exists the app redirected to the frontpage this was happening for this image url as well.
Thanks again! :)
Started a new Conversation Double Requests On Every Pageload
I just noticed something weird in my application. When I was about to implement pageview tracking into my own sourcecode, I noticed that I am getting a double request every single time. It happens so fast that you do not even notice on the pageload. (So this is not happening i Google Analytics, probably because JS has not been executed that quick)
For example I hit page.com/test, then I get 1 request with the correct path and a unique request fingerprint, but I do also get another request to the root path of the site with another request fingerprint.
Googled a bit and saw some folks that had used double $next's in their middleware, but that is not my issue. My issue is still unknown.
I am out of ideas of what this can be. I do the "tracking" in my blade template files, if that can give someone any idea?
