Replied to Custom Login Doesn't Work

That's a nice cuestion... Using auth register/login system I have the following problems:

  1. I changed the users migration to adapt the auth system for my project. So I had to change the register function.
  2. After register, the user was logged in automatically, but I didn't want it, so I removed these.
  3. When I was loggin in with my user, I logged in once, but if I logged out and I wanted to log in again , I couldn't. Why? I don't know

Started a new Conversation Custom Login Doesn't Work

I have made a custom login in laravel because the default auth login doesn't work for me. I used the attempt function to check if the user exists in database, but it redirects back to login form again. Here's my login fuction:

public function login()

    if ($this->validateFields()) {

        $credentials = array(
            "email" => request('email'),
            'password' => request('password')

        if (Auth::attempt($credentials)) {
            return Redirect::intended(route('user.profile'));
        } else {
            die('no coincide');

    die('no es valido');

I have user.profile's route with auth middleware to 'protect' it. Here are my routes:

Route::view('/home', 'home')->name('home');

Route::group(['middleware' => 'guest'], function () { Route::view("/registro", 'user.signUpForm')->name('signUpForm'); Route::post("registro", '[email protected]')->name('user.signUp'); Route::view('/login', 'user.loginForm')->name('loginForm'); Route::post('login', '[email protected]')->name('login'); });

Route::group(['middleware' => 'auth'], function () { Route::view('/perfil', 'user.profile')->name('user.profile'); });

Here is my login form's blade, if is needed:

<div class="container">
    <div class="row pt-4">
        <div class="col-md-12">
            <form action="{{ route('login') }}" method="post" class="text-center border border-light p-5">

                <p class="h4 mb-4">Login</p>

                <div class="form-group">
                    <input type="email" name="email" id="email" class="form-control" placeholder="Email">

                <div class="form-group">
                    <input type="password" name="password" id="password" class="form-control"

                <button type="submit" class="btn btn-outline-elegant btn-block">Acceder</button>

I don't know if I have to change something in some config file or another one. Thanks in advance.
