Here is what I do

Cut and paste the

require __DIR__.'/vendor/autoload.php';
$app = require_once __DIR__.'/bootstrap/app.php';

Replied to How To Calculate Average Of Rating In Blade File

There are two ways to do it.

First get the count of array elements.

M1: Get the sum value of rating from foreach loop.

$sum = 0;
 foreach($your_array as $value){
            $sum += $value;
 }
 $avg = $sum / count($your_array);

M2: use array_sum method to find the sum.

$avg = array_sum($your_array) / count($your_array);

M1/M2 will depend upon your array structure. Finally run

if {
	conditional block
}
else {
        conditional block
}

condition according to the average value.

Replied to Problem In Update User On Unique Email

I think you need to remove that unique validation from email type. Since you're updating one user then just find the user id by email and if returns any value then update else throw some error.

Started a new Conversation Detect API Request In Laravel

Hello, I'm working in a application where I'm using same API for desktop and android app in order to reuse the code. For an example There is an create user form in desktop website as well as in the app. So I have written one API to submit the form data, which is working perfectly. But my main requirement is to get the origin request for that form submit/post API. I have tried

jenssegers/agent package

, so far I am able to detect weather its mobile or desktop. Is there any other way to detect that the post request coming from the app end?

An extra parameter will do the job for sure, but I would like to avoid it. Any help is appreciated.
