Started a new Conversation Json Encode Null Issue

Hi , I have a array which has empty string as value for an key (""), but when i json encode it its making that "" into a null value, how can i avoid this?

$data = [

"some_key"=>"",
"some_other_key"=>"xyz",
"timestamp"=>1601900562163

];

dd(json_encode($data));

Result {"some_key":null,"some_other_key":"xyz","timestamp":1601900562163}

Expected {"some_key":"","some_other_key":"xyz","timestamp":1601900562163}

Started a new Conversation Frequent Data Update

hi, Im fetching user data from db and updating the user data (ie. balance).but when another call is made to update the balance before completing the previous balance update request it is taking the old balance oly. how can i achive this?

eg. My balance in db is 1500, and a request has sent to deduct 200, very next second one more request is sent to deduct 400, balance should be 900. but if i din save it before next request the final bal becomes 1100 (Which is wrong).

As i get request from 3rd party to deduct balance . i will get one after the other request very frequently. is there any way to check and wait untill old request is completed its excecution, before processing next?
