Started a new Conversation How To Ignore Project Directory In Laravel Public Folder.

I have a full PHP project on public folder that i need Laravel to ignore, however, Laravel catches the routes as 404.

example: https://www.xxxxx.com should ignore project on https://www.xxxxx.com/project/

I have this htaccess file code. I need Laravel to ignore the project links, they use different databases.

    <IfModule mod_negotiation.c>
        Options -MultiViews -Indexes
    RewriteEngine On

    ## You may need to uncomment (remove #) the following line for some hosting environments,
    ## if you have installed to a subdirectory, enter the name here also.
    ## Example: for https://site.com enter: "/", for https://site.com/something enter: "/something/"
    RewriteBase /
    # RewriteRule ^(ewala) - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/ewala/.*$
     # Redirect Trailing Slashes...
    RewriteRule ^(.*)/$ / [L,R=301]

    # Handle Authorization Header
    RewriteCond %{HTTP:Authorization} .
    RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]

    # Redirect Trailing Slashes If Not A Folder...
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} (.+)/$
    RewriteRule ^ %1 [L,R=301]

    # Send Requests To Front Controller...
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteRule ^ index.php [L]

Started a new Conversation Submit Laravel Form Data Using Jquery Wizard Form

i have no knowledge on jquery, but the project is using a wizard form on the frontend, i need to submit the form data but i have failed, i tried looking on how to all in vain.

On the console it fires and button submit event.

this is the jquery function. the form originally submitted a external php email file.

    "use strict";
    $('form#wrapped').attr('action', ' ** to point to admissions.store route ** ');
        stepsWrapper: "#wrapped",
        submit: ".submit",
        unidirectional: false,
        beforeSelect: function(event, state) {
            if ($('input#website').val().length != 0) {
                return false;
            if (!state.isMovingForward)
                return true;
            var inputs = $(this).wizard('state').step.find(':input');
            return !inputs.length || !!inputs.valid();
        errorPlacement: function(error, element) {
            if (element.is(':radio') || element.is(':checkbox')){
            } else {
    //  progress bar
        afterSelect: function(event, state) {
            $("#progressbar").progressbar("value", state.percentComplete);
            $("#location").text("" + state.stepsComplete + " of " + state.stepsPossible + " completed");

    transitions: {
        branchtype: function($step, action) {
            var branch = $step.find(":checked").val();
            if (!branch) {
            return branch;

// Input name and email value
function getVals(formControl, controlType) {
    switch (controlType) {

        case 'name_field':
            // Get the value for input
            var value = $(formControl).val();

        case 'email_field':
            // Get the value for input
            var value = $(formControl).val();

i already have form setup correctly with post method and my form action to a store function on my controller.

How do i adapt this to send the form data to the database. Data manipulations will only be handled from admin not frontend so am not worried with other actions i.e update, delete, edit. i have had multiple endounters with wizard form and always stuck at it please any help will be ok.
