I have a Laravel app which works fine in my local environment, but not working correctly in nginx server when its host. I have given the permissions correctly for the storage folder.

I have configured my Laravel API with Angular front-end in my Nginx server as the following. But the Laravel API is not working. Can you help me in configuring the 2 apps properly.

Replied to Handling Different Sibling Objects (not Models) In Laravel Project

The attributes are same.

The only thing is I need to have one route to create orders. So if I create Controllers for each order I will not able to have just one route for orders right?

Replied to Handling Different Sibling Objects (not Models) In Laravel Project

currently there is only one order. So I just use the order create method to create the order. Order types are a new requirement. I'm going to get the order_type by as a request attribute. Currently I thought something like this.

$order = null;
switch ($request->json('order_type')) {
    case 'sales':
        $order = new SalesOrder;
        $order->total = $request->json('total');
        ...
        break;
    case 'purchase':
        $order = new PurchaseOrder;
        $order->total = $request->json('total');
        ...
        break;
    default:
        break;
}

Started a new Conversation Handling Different Sibling Objects (not Models) In Laravel Project

Hi, I have an Order Controller store function which handles Order creation for several type of orders (Sales Order, Purchase Order etc). These all orders are stored in the same orders table.

But each type of order has some different functionalities. according to their attributes. (printing invoices, sending notifications etc)

These are the questions that I have

  1. Since there is one Order Model how to handle these types of scenarios in Laravel?
  2. If I need to create separate objects according to their type where I have to put these classes in the Laravel project?
  3. How to map request data with these objects in Laravel?

Thank you
