Replied to Homestead: First Time Setup - Npm Error

@aurawindsurfing yes, you are right.

I missed an error in the installation with yarn.

[3/4] Linking dependencies...
warning " > [email protected]" has unmet peer dependency "[email protected]^3.0.0 || ^4.0.0".
error An unexpected error occurred: "EIO: i/o error, symlink '../../../parser/bin/babel-parser.js' -> '/home/vagrant/code/liveeasy/node_modules/@babel/core/node_modules/.bin/parser'".

Well, yarn doesn't work either. It's the same error as with npm...

Replied to Homestead: First Time Setup - Npm Error

@aurawindsurfing thank you. Installation with yarn worked. If I run now the command "npm run dev" I got now an error, too.

Do you have any solutions for this error?

Thank you!

Started a new Conversation Homestead: First Time Setup - Npm Error

I have just installed Homestead with vagrant and virtualbox for the first time. My operating system is Windows. The installation worked without problems. Now I have executed the command "npm install" via command line (git bash) and received the following error message.

Unfortunately, Google did not find any helpful results.

For any help, I would be very grateful.

Started a new Conversation User Access To Files In A Task

Hello,

I'm an absolute beginner with Laravel and I'm just trying to get started and it's time for my first question. Unfortunately, I could find nothing specific on Google.

My goal is to create a kind of task to which two users (not admin or employees) can be assigned. In addition, documents for this task should be available. Access to these documents should only be possible for these two users, admins and employees. Other users should not get access to the documents via a link or similar. In this case, I bind the documents to the task and not to the user.

How can I manage this in conjunction with a data store, such as S3?

Thank you for your help!
