Replied to How To Run Dusk Properly / Run All Tests (unit And Dusk)

Thanks for the suggestion. I will do that.

Just a quick update: php artisan dusk also runs fine without --env=testing. I must have had some kind of caching issue. Sorry for the confusion.

php artisan dusk runs all tests. Not only the tests in the browser directory.

Replied to How To Run Dusk Properly / Run All Tests (unit And Dusk)

When using the following command:

php artisan dusk --env=testing

All tests (dusk and unit tests) are running with the correct database.

Started a new Conversation How To Run Dusk Properly / Run All Tests (unit And Dusk)

To run my dusk tests I can use the command: php artisan dusk

With this command dusks tests run with the correct test database and everything is working fine.

But when I run the following command: php vendor/bin/phpunit to run all my tests - dusk uses the database of the local environment and NOT the test database.

Is there a way to run all tests (including dusk)

I have created multiple .env files:

.env (local db) .env.dusk.testing (testing db) .env.dusk.local (testing db) .env.testing (testing db)

phpunit.xml includes:

And I have also created a phpunit.dusk.xml which also includes the

I have also tried to run the command after clearing the caches: php artisan optimize:clear

But there is no difference.

Looking forward to your answers!
