Started a new Conversation Append Records Before Saving To Database

Hello,

In my Nova resource i have a field for IP address.It works fine for single IP address (10.0.0.0) but now i want to be able to support subnet like 10.0.0.0/24. Now when i save a record with an Eloquent Model , how can i duplicate the records , change the IP for each and let nova save to database.

As of now i would need to manually add 255 ips to database from nova which is tedious

Replied to Routes Not Working Anymore

Thanks for your comments guys.

As it turns out there was a variable in env that was missing due to a merge resolution.I added a dump in the function calling sanitizeRequirement so that i know which key was responsible.

Replied to Routes Not Working Anymore

@m-naderian

No that's didn't help but it seems i may have forgot to commit something because the error is saying that regex is null

Started a new Conversation Routes Not Working Anymore

I just moved to a new server and now i can't even load the homepage and i see the error below:

Argument 2 passed to Symfony\Component\Routing\Route::sanitizeRequirement() must be of the type string, null given, called in /symfony/routing/Route.php on line 457

private function sanitizeRequirement(string $key, string $regex)

    {

        if ('' !== $regex && '^' === $regex[0]) {

            $regex = (string) substr($regex, 1); // returns false for a single character

        }

        if ('$' === substr($regex, -1)) {

            $regex = substr($regex, 0, -1);

        }

        if ('' === $regex) {

            throw new \InvalidArgumentException(sprintf('Routing requirement for "%s" cannot be empty.', $key));

        }

        return $regex;

    }

I even reduced my web.php routes as follows to debug the issue

Route::get('/', '[email protected]')->middleware('home')->name('home');

ProjectController

public function homeView()
    {
        return view('index');
    }

I also did a php artisan optimize:clear just be sure all cache is cleared

Replied to Specify App.url When Using Asset Function

I removed reference to asset and i build the url directly like so

{{ config('app.url') . 'videoplayer/video.min.js' }}

Started a new Conversation Specify App.url When Using Asset Function

I use multiple subdomains in my laravel.One of my views have the following code

<script src="{{ asset('videoplayer/video.min.js') }}"></script>

I am getting the view as follows

\View::make('videoplayer_body',["playerWrapper" => $this->playerWrapper])->render()

Is there a way so that to ensure that asset function uses app.url as base url
