    Okay, I've made the table that is storing document id and timestamp also. How could I now sort them by hours and click count ?

    Raimondas left a reply on Sort Table Rows By The Most Clicks In 72 Hours

    Yes, it's simply increments the click count when the doc is clicked. I'm not storing 72hours value anywhere now. I don't really know how I should do that exactly.

    Raimondas started a new conversation Sort Table Rows By The Most Clicks In 72 Hours

    How could I sort the table rows by most clicks made in 72 hours ? I'm creating documents webpage where you can see how many times the doc was clicked. How do I need to check which docs were clicked the most in 72 hours period and sort them from most popular to least popular ?

    This line orders data by clicks descending.

    docs = Document::orderBy('clicks', 'desc')->where('private', null)->take(20)->get();

    I've tried this $conv = Conversation::orderBy('created_at', 'asc')->where('user_id', '=', Auth::user()->id)->get(); but this will display the all messages where user_id equals to auth user.

                                            <span class="username">&commat;<a style="color: #9a9696;" href="{{ url('vartotojas/'.$like->user->id.'/'.$like->user->username) }}">{{ $like->user->username }}</a></span></h5>

                                </div><!-- /.modal -->

    Raimondas started a new conversation Foreach Users Who Clicked Like On Post.

    I need to foreach users who liked the post. Problem is that I can't do that. I'm getting only blank result. This is my relationship:

    Post.php:

        public function user(){
            return $this->belongsTo('App\User');
        }

        public function like()
        {
            return $this->HasMany('App\Like');
        }

    User.php:

        public function like(){
            return $this->hasMany('App\Like');
        }
        public function post(){
            return $this->hasMany('App\Post');
        }

    Like.php:

        public function user()
        {
            return $this->hasOne('App\User', 'id', 'user_id');
        }

        public function post()
        {
            return $this->belongsTo('App\Post');
        }

    I was trying to do this:

        @foreach($posts as $post)
           @foreach($post->like as $like)
             <p>{{ $like->user->name }}</p>
           @endforeach
        @endforeach

    But I get blank result. Even though database is set all good.

    Raimondas started a new conversation Replying To Comments

    Sup guys sips tea I'm trying to make a replies so I can reply to comments. I have a strange problem. When I reply to the first comment nothing happens, the page just refreshes and reply info is not saved into database. But if I reply to 2nd comment it works well. The reply is store to database. Can someone tell me why this happens ?

    This is my code in controller:

      public function reply(Request $request){
            $reply = new Reply();
            $reply->reply = $request->input('reply');
            $reply->comment_id = $request->input('id'); // I'll change this later. Just for test purpose. (it works)
            $reply->user_id = Auth::user()->id;
            $reply->save();
           // return redirect()->back();
            return dd($reply);

    Raimondas started a new conversation Sending Mail With Php Code [error]

    Hi I want to send email from my website to my email account. This is the php code:

    <?php
    // Check for empty fields
    if(empty($_POST['name'])        ||
       empty($_POST['email'])       ||
       empty($_POST['message']) ||
       !filter_var($_POST['email'],FILTER_VALIDATE_EMAIL))
       {
        echo "No arguments Provided!";
        return false;
       }

    $name = strip_tags(htmlspecialchars($_POST['name']));
    $email_address = strip_tags(htmlspecialchars($_POST['email']));
    $message = strip_tags(htmlspecialchars($_POST['message']));

    // Create the email and send the message
    $to = '***********@gmail.com'; // Add your email address inbetween the '' replacing [email protected] - This is where the form will send a message to.
    $email_subject = "Interneto svetainė:  $name";
    $email_body = "Jūs gavote naują pranešimą iš savo svetainės.\n\n"."Detalės:\n\nVardas: $name\n\nEl. paštas: $email_address\n\nPranešimas:\n$message";
    $headers = "From: [email protected]\n"; // This is the email address the generated message will be from. We recommend using something like [email protected]
    $headers .= "Atsakyti: $email_address";
    mail($to,$email_subject,$email_body,$headers);
    return true;

    Raimondas started a new conversation Check If User Liked Post

    I need to check if user liked post and marked them as "You like this". This is my code right now:

        public function index(){
            $posts = Post::orderBy('created_at', 'desc')->get();
            $user = Auth::user();
           /* $liked = Post::with('user')
                ->whereHas('like', function ($query) use ($user) {
                    $query->where('user_id', '=', $user->id);
                })->get();*/
            $liked = Post::all();
            foreach($liked as $lik){
                $lik->like()->where('user_id', '=', $user->id);
            }
            return view('index', compact('posts', 'lik'));

        }

    And this is html:

                            @if($lik)
                        <button class="[ btn btn-primary ]">
                            <i class="fa fa-thumbs-o-up" aria-hidden="true"></i> You like this</button>
                            @else
                            <a href="/patinka/{{$p->id}}" type="button" class="[ btn btn-default ]">
                                <i class="fa fa-thumbs-o-up" aria-hidden="true"></i> Like</a>
                            @endif

    And I always get "You like this" even though I did not liked any post. Can someone help ?

    Raimondas started a new conversation Need To Fix Where Query

    Sup guys, I need to make sure that when user "likes" post it cannot be liked one more time by the same user. This is what I'm trying to do currently:

        public function liked($id)
        {
            $like = new Like();
            $post = Post::where('id', $id)->first();
            if($post->user_id != Auth::user()->id && $like->user_id != Auth::user()->id) {
                $like->user_id = Auth::user()->id;
                $like->post_id = $post->id;
                $like->like = 1;
                $like->save();
                return redirect()->back();
            } else {
                return redirect()->back();
            }
        }

    With this query I can like multiple times the same post from the same user. Can someone suggest some code ?

    Well I don't get any errors, so I think it's working

    Raimondas left a reply on Stuck, Need Some Guidance

    You just need to build something more complex which only requires not only CRUD and that's it. I remember when I took first order to make ecommerce site. I was so "green" in payments, I've never ever used it before so I said I can make all the job except payment coding. But anyway, the client just asked "maybe u could try?" and that's it. I've learned how to include payment methods to projects. hah :)

    Raimondas left a reply on App Key Any Vulnerability?

    @Snapey Yes, but is it working fine when I just change it to other ? I don't need to upload all project again ? Is it enough to only change it in .env file on hosting ?

    Raimondas left a reply on App Key Any Vulnerability?

    @MikeHopley Okay, what I've done now is I generated new app key in my localhost and added it to the hosted laravel project is it good ? Or I should upload my all project again ?
