DurgeshJha left a reply on Unable To Pass The Auth_> Id In Each View Page

@jbowman99 Thanks for your reply,

I have one dashboard controller views are like view:

Master layouts kept in view:studentzone/layouts/dashboard-master.blade.php

  1. studentzone/dashboard.blade.php- (extends to-layouts/dashboard-master.blade.php )
  2. studentzone/profile.blade.php - (extends to-layouts/dashboard-master.blade.php )
  3. studentzone/homework/index.blade.php- (extends to-layouts/dashboard-master.blade.php )

Now Database includes following tables:

  1. Users- only users records like email, passwords of students
  2. Students- contains all the details of student like name, class photos
  3. tasks contains all the task with id , sub_name, disciption and Student_id

Goal: When any of the above view gets loads each time that view (extends to-layouts/dashboard-master.blade.php ) and

layouts/dashboard-master.blade.php: required following details:

Student name, Student class, student photos from (students tabele) with reference to user id in (users) table and Task counts from the (task table) with refrence to student id

Each time i have to pass these from controller public function index() { //show task $tasks = Task::all(); $id= Auth::id(); $users = DB::table('students')->where('id', $id)->get(); $tasks = DB::table('tasks')->where('student_id', $id)->get(); $counts =DB::table('tasks')->where('student_id', $id)->count(); return view('studentzone.homework.index', compact('users','tasks','counts')); }

but the problem is when i request for any other function to controller like update or edit something i gets error of undefined variable and , Non-objevct property calling

DurgeshJha left a reply on Looking For Best Admin-panel Theme For School Management System

Thankyou for the reply Actually I want to Use the Single dashboard for different purpose like Dashboard role-student(which shows only students report card/question paper/assignment/attendance) Dashboard role-Parents (can see their child attendance/reports/daily assignmnet for their kind ) Dashboard role-Teachers (could edit/check and upload assignment for student, plan for parents meeting, see students parents information)

These three should be treated as front end viewer

Dashboard role-Manager Dashboard role-Superadmin These 2 may be trated as backend user who could add/edit/upadate all the records for the required purpose

Please suggest which way i should go in order to make this project
