Replied to [Vue Warn]: Error In V-on Handler: "TypeError: Getlist_charge Is Not A Function" ??

You have a typo:

its methods and not method :

methods: {
    getlist_charge : function( div) {
        alert( div );

    }

Replied to Route Found By Route(), But Not When Accessing

the view() command wants either the name of the route or the URL. courses.create is neither of both.

try this:

return view('create-course' , compact('organizations'));

or

return view('/courses/create', compact('organizations'));

Replied to Routing With Localization In Laravel

compact('blogs')

is the same as

['blogs' => $blogs]

But you don't have a variable named $blogs

Try compact('blog') instead

Replied to General Error: Field Doesn't Have A Default Value

this error means, that you have a field in your database that is

  • not nullable,
  • doesn't have a default-value,
  • you don't set a value for this field during create.

Normally you should see in the error-message, which field this is.

Replied to Vuejs : Cannot Access Store ( Vuex ) In Event.$on

try this:

mounted () {
    let vm = this;
    EventBus.$on('LOGIN', function (payLoad) {
        console.log('payLoad');
        console.log(vm.$store);
        isLoggedIn = vm.$store.getters.isLoggedIn;
        isLoggedIn = vm.checkIfIsLogged()
    });
},

within the function you have another scope, so this means something different there.

Replied to How To Type In Specific Textarea In Vuejs Loop?

textareas (as well as input-fields) with the same name-Attribute are treated as the same element inside a form. (That's not vue-specific, but HTML-specific)

In a loop, you need to do something like this:

<div v-for="item in items">
    <textarea :name="'somename_' + item.id">
...

this needs to have an id with every item (in your case possibly comment-id? )

Replied to Vue - Parse JSON String

Try this:

this.content = JSON.parse(content);

This will give you an array, which you can then iterate over.

Replied to How Do You Install A Vue.js Package Into Laravel?

I think you have installed the package correctly, but look at the code:

:show="show"

This variable controlls if the vodal is displayed, and show is set to an initial value of false

I guess you just need to set this to true ... ?

Replied to Best Practice For Validation And Dry Principle

One way could be, to create the JavaScript validation rules on the backend.

put the rules in a placeholder and fill it while rendering the view:

something like this in your template:

<script>{{ $rules }}</script>

something like this in your controller

return view('myform', ['rules' => ' ... ']);

The format of the rules depends on your implementation, but could be some JSON, or similar.

const app = new Vue({
    el: '#app',
    components:{
    Myheader,
    Myfooter
}

</template>

produces this error. Write some code in between the template-tags!

Replied to Trouble Understanding How A Vue Plugin Is Working

I guess that part is required:

new Vue({
  el: '#app',
  render: h => h(App),
})

because it rerenders your app

Replied to Image Uploads To Tmp Instead Of Correct Location

$name = $file->getClientOriginalName();
$path = 'public/images';
...
$post->name = $request->name; // here you should use $path . '/' . $name instead

Replied to How Much Of Code Syntax You Guys Remember?

more important than the syntax is to have an understanding on how to do certain things. For example: "Do I use a for- or a while-loop for this problem?" or "Do I use IF- or Switch-statements for this?".

Other than that I can only repeat what was already said: php.net, Laravel docs, w3schools, google, etc. are all legit tools for our daily work.
