Hi @Cronix ,

not working :(

What else could it be?

Thanks for the try.

Alvaro_Garcia started a new conversation Problems With Ajax Communication

Hi forum,

I´m trying to communicate from a view via ajax and I don´t manage to get the response. The code outside Laravel works fine.

Note that the publish action works fine, the search button is the one that is not working fine, it supposes to send the address data via ajax in order to geolocate in a map, at the moment it doesnt even return a string to the view.

The views code: https://pastebin.com/g4c9YKv4

The web.php route: https://pastebin.com/C0fHAvt7

Any ideas?

Thanks beforehand.

I have tried @Citti method but it´s not solving the problem. I work under windows. The error I´m getting is the following:

I have checked and the webpack directory inside node_modules does´nt exist.

Any ideas? Been stuck for a while with this issue.

Alvaro_Garcia left a reply on Creating Different CSS Files With Webpack

First of all thanks for your replies, at the moment the file structure is the following:

*app.scss *listings.scss *_filtros-listings2.css *_listings2.css

The webpack.mix.js file is has the following:

mix .js('resources/assets/js/app.js', 'public/js') .sass('resources/assets/sass/app.scss', 'public/css') .saas('resources/assets/sass/listings.scss', 'public/css')

And the listings.scss file has the following:

@import 'filtros-listings2'; @import 'listings2';

If I execute npm run dev the listings CSS in the public directory is not created, also no errors are thrown in the console.

Also I have tried renaming to _filtros-listings2.scss and _listings2.scss and I get the same results.

Alvaro_Garcia left a reply on Creating Different CSS Files With Webpack

Sorry @bashy. I´m going to try and explain the problem in a better way:

I have a file public/css/listings/all-listings.css which is a concatenation of resources/assets/css/listings/listings2.css and resources/assets/css/listings/filtros-listings2.css. Now imagine a want to change something in the CSS file using inspection with F12 in the browser, the inspector tells me the line in the concatenated file (all-listings.css) and i think i should be changing the CSS in the resources folder before concatenation.

Is my concept correct?

The content of listing.scss is:

@import "listings2"; @import "filtros-listings2";

Where listings2 and filtros-listings2 are css files in the same directory.

Alvaro_Garcia left a reply on Creating Different CSS Files With Webpack

Thanks for the reply @bashy but does what I´m doing and I get "This dependency was not found:" pasted in the previous post.

Alvaro_Garcia started a new conversation Creating Different CSS Files With Webpack

I would like to use the default app.scss file for the common css needed at all views. And i would like to generate another file with the specific CSS that will be used in a specific view (listing.scss).

I have tried changing the webpack.mix.js file to this: mix.js('resources/assets/js/app.js', 'public/js') .sass('resources/assets/sass/app.scss', 'public/css') .sass('resources/assets/sass/listing.scss', 'public/css/listings');

When I execute npm run dev, I get the following error:

  • F:\PC-1\xamp\htdocs\pruebas\blog\resources\assets\sass\listing.scss in multi ./resources/assets/js/app.js ./resources/assets/sass/app.scss ./resources/assets/sass/listing.scss

To install it, you can run: npm install --save F:\PC-1\xamp\htdocs\pruebas\blog\resources\assets\sass\listing.scss

I have´nt found information on how to achieve this. Any ideas?

Thanks beforehand.

Hi forum,

When I execute "npm run development" command i get the following error, it says that "cross-env" is not recognized:
