Show uncaught exceptions to console rather than laravel.log file

Posted 4 years ago by rephiscorth

So far I was finding difficult to do TDD on controllers because whenever I get Red (a class doesn't exists, or the view isn't create yet) I just get **Failed to asssert 200 equals 500**, but the actual exception is logged to the laravel.log file.

Reading said file is slow (and a lil bit difficult since all errors are logged there, and clearing it after each $phpunit would make it slower).

Today I saw TDD By Example video and noticed the uncaught exception (View not found, etc..) get showns in the console, I'm wondering how do I make it happen?

I'm using Laravel 5.1 and APP_DEBUG is set to true, am I missing something else?
