Choosing a new host - aws lightsail or another vps

Hi Up until now I've hosted my apps on a VPS service with a provider. I'm looking to downsize and now trying to choose what solution is best and things have moved on - I'm not the best in sorting out servers. So - is Amazon lightsail a viable option to host 3-4 sites on one instance? SHould I stick to a VPS service as I am now - any recommendations on a good value host where I can tweak the server etc? And finally should I be using forge? don't quite understand that service either. Sorry, appreciate the questions are vague but looking to learn new options Thanks

Hey @longestdrive

If you are having issues sorting out servers then this is really where Forge will totally excel for you. Pay for forge then point it out to either AWS, Digital Ocean, Linode etc and let it take care of the rest.

It has a nice straight forward interface. In regards to the capacity of given VPS, it all depends on traffic your apps receive. Even smallest Digital Ocean will be able to handle quite a few small projects.

Give it a shot, you will love it!

I actually started using Forge two days ago and so far it has been a very pleasant experience. It handels the server configuration for you and makes it really easy to deploy code. Also now using Digital Ocean for the first time (5$ per month variant for now).
