Using || operator in PHP

Posted 1 year ago by AlexanderKim
@if (url()->previous() != Request::root() . '/admin/news' || url()->previous() != Request::root() . '/admin/pages')

In this case only the first statement before OR is working, but second is always ignored. I'm using it incorrectly?
