hey guys i use homestead and i have question can i install linux application on homestead ? if no why ? homestead is virtual of linux and why i cannot do this

if yes How i can install thx

You can't run visual studio code in your vagrant box, since it has no runnable system. You need to develop on your own machine and your vagrant box is only there to mimic your server ;)

It's not just Linux, it's using Ubuntu. You should be able to install anything using

sudo apt-get install <package_name>

i did before but get error my package renamed to code.deb

@bobbybouwmann Ok i already installed it and this package was for visual studio code but now when im use code . nothing happen

the bash know my code command but not happen when i use it

Also, if you have a .deb file you should use dpkg -i code.deb
