What frameworks did Laracasts use to develop its website?

Laracasts is an awesome website. I love the design and functionality.

What frameworks did laracasts use to build and operate its website? Did they build it from the ground up with laravel or did they use wordpres?

It has a wordpress touch and feel.

Laravel, Vue.js, VideoJS, Google Fonts, Gravatar, Algolia are a few of the frameworks and services used. You can use a browser plugin like Wappalyzer when you're curious about the technologies behind a site.

As someone who has used WordPress very extensively, I don't see anything remotely resembling WordPress here. If I was @JeffreyWay I might take that as an insult.

Laravel all the way :)

My guess would be Laravel (obviously) and Vue.js. He also seems to be using the flexbox stuff for CSS3 but that doesn't count as a framework.
