Homestead and Terminal

Hey Guys i Use Homestead for My Projects

and my real Computer dont know About php , laravel , php artisan and composer because homestead have all of this tools

and i open the project in my pc that cloned to virtual host

and i have problem when i want to use terminal in my ide , terminal don't know about php artisan or composer what can i do ?

should install *AMP or i can open my virtual host directory in my code editor ?

I don't Windows, but you can specify which shell your VSCode intergrated shell uses.

In your User Settings, find terminal.integrated.shell.windows...

 // The path of the shell that the terminal uses on Windows. When using shells shipped with Windows (cmd, PowerShell or Bash on Ubuntu).
  "terminal.integrated.shell.windows": "cmd.exe",

and replace the cmd.exe with the Git Bash binary (check the path is correct for your machine):

"terminal.integrated.shell.windows": "C:\Program Files\Git\bin\bash.exe"

You can't homestead ssh from inside your IDE's terminal?

How do you normally interact with the VM's shell?

I already did and i go To ssh with Vagrant ssh not homestead

But Another things want to ask

are you installed *AMP on Your Mac ? and are them make slower your PC ?

can i Open My directory Code in SSH ( virtual machine ) with my IDE or i just access to my cloned folder ? ?

Whenever I used Homestead, I edited locally.

If that doesn't suit you, there is this: https://codepen.io/ginfuru/post/remote-editing-files-with-ssh but I have no opinion whatsoever about that. ;)
