Replied to Package Moontoast/math Is Abandoned, You Should Avoid Using It. Use Brick/math Instead.

Looks like we're finally getting close. ramsey/uuid isn't calling for it anymore, so laravel/telescope will likely get rid of it in its next update. (As of Laravel 7.3 released 2020-03-26-ish).

Replied to Airlock SPA Authentication

You don't put it on the Vue side. It lives in the Laravel controller your Vue component is phoning home to. Make sure that controller is using the auth:airlock middleware. If the airlock cookie is part of the request, auth:check() will return true (but you have to send that back as JSON for Vue to "see" it).

Was this at all coherent? There are days I wonder about myself...

Replied to Airlock SPA Authentication

You mean you can get Auth::logout() to work at all? You're ahead of me. When I try to invoke it all I get is a

Method Illuminate\Auth\RequestGuard::login does not exist.

I'm getting the feeling the documentation isn't quite telling the whole story.

I can get the user with Auth::user() I do that and return the info I need via response()->json()

Auth::logout() throws an error, but auth()->guard('web')->logout() works as expected; session cookies cleared, and the remember_me token is regenerated (if, indeed, it exists at all). Haven't tested this extensively, but now Airlock seems to be worth the trouble.

Hindsight is always 20/20. The whole point of Airlock is to selectively use web-side (as opposed to api-side) session authentication from certain trusted origin domains. For whatever reason, my app was using the api guards and I guess there's no login method because it's supposed to be stateless. I'm sure there's a more elegant way to get it to work, but this appears to be working for me.

Whether or not this resolves your issue remains to be seen.
