[email protected] started a new conversation Laravel And Rail On Quora

I am relatively new to laravel but nonetheless I have a great love for it. Going through Quora (I do it everyday), I came across some discussion about comparison between Laravel and Rails. Some people replied there, but I would be very grateful to the laravel community if some of us could also reply to this question on Quora (of course in the favour of our Laravel). The link is below:

[email protected] started a new conversation Laravel Validation And Bootstrap Modal

Hi everyone, I just started with laravel..but i have to create a project which is a student management system. One of the tasks is to have a form which will collect all the information about a new student. I have used the bootstrap modal to hold the form. Everything went fine (even the save functionality) until i hit the validation of the form. I want to use the laravel built-in validation facilities but do not really know how to show the errors in my modal when my validation fails. Any help please.

[email protected] started a new conversation AngularJS And Blade

I am using Laravel for the backend. I am looking for a JavaScript framework for my front-end. I am thinking of learning AngularJS but I just wanna know if it goes well with the Laravel framework (I dont want to sacrifice the blade template). For example i saw that both the blade and angularJS use the {{ }}. Any advice will be highly appreciated...

Can anyone please suggest me a very easy way to place a datepicker in a form in laravel. I have tried to use the form::month and form::year..but when it comes to the date...i will need to put a validation so that the user cannot choose a date like 31 Feb...and this is out of my capability right now. I have also looked for bootstrap 3 datepicker..but its inclusion seems to be difficult ....any help is most welcome...

[email protected] left a reply on An Event To A "Save Changes" To A Bootstrap 3 Modal

@pmall In fact, what i want is that when the user clicks the save changes button (which is found on a bootstrap 3 modal - please view it here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17501965/screenshot_338.png), all the data entered by the user are sent to the student controller (which is a resource controller) and all done inside the store action. So far, I have nothing in the student controller store function. Thanks for your reply.

In fact, I have a bootstrap 3 modal which contains all the form elements that are to contain all the details of a new student (like firstname, surname etc..). What I want is that when the user clicks the "Save Changes" button present on the modal...all the codes present in the Store function of my StudentResource Controller is executed. Any help on this issue is highly welcome.
