Started a new Conversation 502 Bad Gateway Nginx - Laravel Valet

Hello, I just got a new macbook pro and I am trying to set it up.

I installed Homebrew and then installed php using brew install php

also installed laravel valet. I tested valet with ping foobar.test and I get a proper response

I created a folder ~/code and cd in and parked valet using valet park

I created a new laravel app named blog in my code directory ~/code/blog

I now try to open the app in the browser typing blog.test

and I get a 502 Bad Gateway nginx/1.17.3

I have researched a lot but had no luck so far.

Any help?

Hello, I just got a new macbook pro and I my trying to set it up. I need to install composer and I am trying to run the commands they provide.

I get the following error

PHP Warning: failed loading cafile stream: `/usr/local/etc/openssl/cert.pem' in Command line code on line 1

Apparently in openssl directory there is nothing in it.

How is this fixed?

Started a new Conversation Php Artisan Syntax Error

Hello, I uploaded one of my projects to a server and I'm using task scheduling in it. I added the cronjob as the documentation says but it seems that something is wrong with the artisan command.

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'class' (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or '{' or '$' in .../artisan on line 31

I am using Laravel Framework 5.7.28 and PHP 7.3.8

Locally on my machine, everything works as expected!
