I'd love a little steer on Spark (team) billing 'best practice': (using Stripe)
I want to have 4 plans, each has an increasing 'maxTeams' and 'maxTeamMembers'. These are a fixed price for monthly/yearls billing regardless of how many 'slots' filled.
Then a 5th 'ultra' plan that has unlimited users and teams, billed per team AND per memeber WITH a minimum fixed price (highr than the other plans)
Is this style of billing mix even possible? (out of the box)
Should/Could/How Would... I set up the 4 plans as a fixed price then the 5th as a per unit price of £team + £member? (assuming £teams != £members)
I'm guessing Stripe unit pricing come in to play here too.
@KEL_ - thanks for testing first. appreciated. now i know it's definaltey posible and therefore a me issues.
*in the spirit of full disclosue, i didn't use the teambilling pram on install, then followed the laracast vid on adding it. I suspect i missed something so will recover that.
in the mean time,
@CRONIX - Initially I didn’t include ->teamTrialDays() at all. So I’ll try null now
Hi all, Is it possible to not have any free trial period?
I want, team billing, card upfront and NO free trial period but it seems that despite my controller setting: Spark::useStripe()->teamTrialDays(0);
members are being set up with 1 day of free trial.
can anyone explain this ? and how to really get NO free days?
@ANDYLEE - I suspect i'm too late for this advice and that you've already discovered it for yourself but for the benefit of others...
Spark "prefers" to be installed on a fresh laravel set up. ie. no Nova. ...then install Nova over that.
This sounds like my intended billing model how did you get on with this?
I may have misunderstood spark but a team "member" shouldn't have any "free trial" or "billing" applied to thier account right?
I have team billing and expect only the own to be charged for the number of teams and menbers they have but none of the members to be privvy to any billing info.
is it a case of some settings somewhere OR adding a few @can's OR something that's just not possible?
