mezuky started a new conversation Broadcasting On Live Server Not Working

Hello everyone,

I have a chat application that uses Pusher and Laravel broadcasting features. All things where ok until the app was deployed. On the live version, pusher events are not catched by laravel echo. The difference between the two versions is that the live version uses https.

It seems to be a problem with pusher authorization. For the local version, in pusher console the events connection, subscribed and occupied are fired. Also, the authorization request returns an auth code with status 200 (image here).

On the live version only the connection event is fired in pusher console. Also, the authorization request does not return an auth code, but an empty response with status 200.

Does anyone know what should be changed in order to make broadcasting work on https? Thanks

// Use this in clients migration
$table->increments('client_id');

// Also use this in patients migration

Also make sure clients migration is executed before patients migration.

mezuky left a reply on Testing A 403 Response Status After Submiting A Form In Laravel 5.1

Use assertResponseStatus($code)

$this->actingAs($user)
            ->withSession(['applocalemodel' => 'ca'])
            ->visit('/admin/regulations/create')
            ->type('Norma de prova no funcionarà', 'name')
            ->press('Guardar')
            ->assertResponseStatus(403);

This will expect that response code to be 403.

Can you post the columns of the tables and an example of check boxes?

mezuky left a reply on Where Clause With Array

@francoboy7 I'm glad to help you!

mezuky left a reply on Where Clause With Array

This should return all records from dates_available table that match date column in swap_dates table:

Auth::user()->getswapdates()->leftJoin('dates_available', 'swap_dates.start', '=', 'dates_available.date')->get();

Also, you can do with whereIn:

$swaps = Auth::user()->getswapdates()->get();
// Create an array that will store swap dates
$swapDates = [];
// Fill array with dates
foreach ($swaps as $swap) {
    $swapDates[] = $swap->start;
}
// Now select from dates_available where date is in $swapDates array
$availables = DatesAvailable::whereIn('date', $swapDates);

Do you want to get from DatesAvailable all records that match given user_id?

mezuky left a reply on Using Blade And Angularjs Together

I'm not sure how do you want to use blade and angular together. If you refer how to use blade and angular together in the same view, put @ before brackets and blade will ignore it.

<!-- This will be ignored by blade and executed by angular -->

mezuky left a reply on User E-mail Confirmation On Signup.

You can use

if (Auth::attempt(['email' => $email, 'password' => $password, 'cofrimed' => 1])) {
    // The user is confirmed
}

This will log user in only if confirmed column is set to 1. http://laravel.com/docs/5.1/authentication#authenticating-users
