I had integrated the CAS3.0 SSO client integration using Sentra Soft in my Laravel application. When the user clicks on my URL it will redirect the user to their login page. When they give actual username/password its coming to my callback URL. Also if the user is already logged in it will redirect the user to my call back URL with a ticket. When I give
Cas::authenticate(); Cas::getCurrentUser(); in my call back function its showing the below error.
CAS Authentication failed! You were not authenticated.
How to rectify this error? Why its not authenticated? Should I validate the ticket in the call back URL? How to do this?
Can someone help me to resolve this?
To integrate the CAS client authentication I had copied the subfission folder (https://github.com/subfission/cas/wiki/Installation) to my vendor directory in Laravel 5.7 app. subfission directory looks like below.
Then I changed the config/app.php with the below changes
Add the ServiceProvider to the providers array in app/config/app.php
As well as the Facade to your app.php config file:
'Cas' => 'Subfission\Cas\Facades\Cas',
I am getting the below error on my application error 500. From the log I can see this error.
local.ERROR: Uncaught ReflectionException: Class view does not exist in vendor/laravel/framework/src/Illuminate/Container/Container.php:774
How to resolve this error? Please help me. Thanks.
For this SSO CAS integration my client is asking a unique URL for the login request like his domain other request.
For eg. This is my laravel 5.7 CAS login request url https://mydomain.com/caslogin
But the client wants the login URL as https://clientdomain.mydomain.com/caslogin
How to do this in Laravel?
Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks.
Someone please help me to resolve this issue. I need some tips to do this integration. Thanks in advance.
Sorry my query create a confusion.
My requirement is this.
My client has a CAS system. From there they need to do an SSO login to my website.
My website is a Laravel 5.7/MySQL application. How do I handle this request? Is it the same as an API call? Can anyone give me a sample request URL for this? What are the steps to be done on my website to handle this request?
My application is live for 1.5 years now. Only thing I need to integrate the CAS authentication for one clients' users. All other users are using custom registration and login feature. My client won't allow us to change the entire set up of the application. So I am looking for a CAS authentication for only for this client. I assume that its an API request we need to authenticate and redirect the user to our home page. At present in our normal logged user's user Id I am getting like this Auth::user()->id;
How to get the user information in Laravel using CAS2.0?
Started a new Conversation CAS INTEGRATION And NORMAL LOGIN/REGISTRATION
I have a website in Laravel 5.7/MYSQL. Here we have so many clients with users. We have created registration and login for each user and integrated all features for all users.
But now one of our clients wants a CAS auth to get the features of the site. How can I integrate this CAS only for this client? Please give me some solutions.
Also how to test this CAS request?
Thanks in advance
